The search process

A search assignment starts with a discussion, during which we get to know the client company, its methods of operation, and the requirements of the task. Together with the client, we create a recruitment profile defining what is expected of the applicants, what requirements are set for them, and which features are important for the successful completion of the task.

Our research team is responsible for finding candidates that suit the defined profile. The team always prepares an assignment-specific business analysis and systematically locates potential candidates for the open position.

Once we have contacted potential applicants, we present the client with a list of interested applicants whose background is suitable. Together with the client, we select the most interesting candidates to be interviewed by the consultant.

We preliminarily present the task and the company to the potential candidates. During the interview, we describe the open position more thoroughly and evaluate the applicant’s competence, achievements and suitability for the open position.

People who are suitable for the task fill in an extensive résumé form, and they are then presented to the client. On the basis of these presentations, 3 to 5 candidates are selected for further discussions to be held between the client and the candidate. A consultant can participate in the discussion, if desired.

Before the client makes the final selection, we check the applicants’ references.

We recommend assessments be used as a tool supporting the selection decision.
