Are you coming to an assessment?
Welcome to an S&S assessment!
Usually applicants who have made their way to the final stage undergo an assessment. Participation in an assessment is always voluntary. Its purpose is to give both you and your recruiting supervisor additional information on your suitability for the organisation and the task. You yourself also benefit from an assessment, as it gives you valuable information on your strengths and development areas. Therefore, an assessment is useful even if you are not selected for the job you were applying for.
You do not need to prepare for an assessment. The best results come from just being yourself. You may bring your CV if you wish, as it helps when talking through your career history. An assessment usually takes 5 to 8 hours. When you are reserving the time for your assessment, you can ask the recruitment assistant how long the assessment will take. Should you need more exact information on the assessment, its course and goals, you can also contact the psychologist responsible for the assessments.
A psychological interview and skill and personality tests constitute essential parts of assessments. We also assess the applicants’ motivation and operating style with various tasks, and test their language skills. Assessment also includes, if so required, various task-specific simulations.
On the basis of the assessment, we draw up a written statement dealing with the applicant’s suitability for the task and situation and his/her strengths. The results are reviewed against set criteria.
